Pionierskie badania, prowadzone przez zespół badawczy Prof. Barbary Gawrońskiej-Kozak z Instytutu Rozrodu Zwierząt i Badań Żywności PAN w Olsztynie, pozwoliły wskazać gen odpowiedzialny za tworzenie skórnych blizn pourazowych. To odkrycie może m.in. wspomóc leczenie niegojących się ran u diabetyków oraz pacjentów, u których rany pozostawiają rozległe, ograniczające sprawność, albo szpecące blizny. (więcej…)

The XV anniversary „Laur Najlepszym z Najlepszym” [Laurel for the Best of the Best] ceremony was held on April 5 in Olsztyn Philharmonic. Marszałek woj. warmińsko-mazurskiego Gustaw Marek Brzezin nagrodził instytucje i mieszkańców regionu za szczególne zasługi w promowaniu regionu w 2017 roku. XV jubileuszowa Gala „Laur Najlepszym z Najlepszych” odbyła się wczoraj (5.04) w Filharmonii Warmińsko-Mazurskiej” w Olsztynie. Wśród laureatów znalazł się Instytut PAN w Olsztynie doceniony za sukcesy na forum krajowym i międzynarodowym, które przyczyniły się do budowania pozytywnego wizerunku regionu Warmii i Mazur.
