OPUS, PRELUDIUM and SONATA provides funding for projects intended for a 1,2 or 3- year implementation and allows for a purchase or development of research equipment. In the reported call, 1235 applications were submitted in the area of life sciences, with 241 having been selected for a total funding of 225M PLN.

Dr. Radosław Kowalski, at the invitation of Japanese partners, gave a speech at the 49th scientific meeting of the Japanese Spermatology Society, held in the Shimoda Marine Research Center University of Tsakuba, Japan.
