Prof. Barbara Wróblewska is a Polish representative of the European Academies Science Advisory Council (EASAC), where she deals with the issue of food safety.  A recent conference in Halle organised by the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina was accompanied by an international meeting of four working groups comprised by experts from Europe (EASAC), Africa (Network of African Science Academies, NASAC), Asia (Association of Academies and Societies of Sciences in Asia, AASSA) and America (InterAmerican Network of Academies of Sciences, IANAS), united in the Partnership of InterAcademy  (IAP) network.
