Representatives of Hokkaido University in Japan, prof. Yasuaki Takagi and prof. Hisae Kasai, visited the Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research PAS in Olsztyn and attended a meeting with the director general Prof. Mariusz Piskuła and the head of Gamete and Embryo Biology science group Prof. Andrzej Ciereszko.

The visit of HU delegates followed signing of the cooperation agreement between the Institute and HU Faculty of Fish Sciences in March. The agreement comprises mutual efforts of the institutions as regards to the exchange of staff and students, organization of joint seminars and workshops, as well as development of joint research projects.
