The Ministry of Education and Science has announced the list of laureates of scholarships for outstanding young scientists. The awardees include five researchers from the Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

From among 1,835 applications of candidates meeting the conditions for the scholarship, the Minister of Education and Science selected a group of 217 young scientists.

The scholarships were awarded to young scientists who have a rich publication record, conduct innovative research and have impressive scientific achievements in the international arena.

Laureates of the IAR&FR:

Dr. Joanna Jaworska from the Department of Gamete and Embryo Biology
 
Dr. Sylwia Judycka from the Department of Gamete and Embryo Biology
 
Dr. Piotr Kaczyński from the Department of Hormone Action Mechanisms
 
Dr. Magdalena Szymańska from the Department of Hormone Action Mechanisms
 
Dr. Joanna Wiśniewska from the Department of Biological Functions of Food.

The winners of the competition will receive Minister’s scholarships for up to 3 years.
