Laboratory of Biotechnic and Reproductive Biotechnology, operating as a core facility, is an integrated laboratory comprising two functional zones:
- Semen analysis and cryopreservation zone;
- Oocyte analysis and in vitro embryo culture zone.
The Laboratory of Reproductive Biotechnics and Biotechnology is equipped with high-quality research instrumentation and professional devices for the assessment of the quality of reproductive cells (spermatozoa and oocytes). It also enables the performance of fully professional semen cryopreservation procedures for fish, birds, and mammals, as well as the in vitro culture of mammalian embryos.
