On September 26-27, 2017 scientific team of Laboratory of Sensory Analysis conducted a sensory evaluation training for employees of Company Enzym PJSC, Lviv– Ukraine, which produces yeast and yeast extracts used as food additives.
The trainees got familiarized with the key issues of sensory analysis, discussed methods used in food studies and underwent a series of tests evaluating their sensory sensitivity. They also learnt discrimination and scheduling techniques while performing evaluation on both test samples and products. The training was aimed at identification of candidates for evaluation panels. The meeting was the first stage that may provide basis for further cooperation between our institutions.
