Prof. Monika Kaczmarek, head of Institute’s Molecular Biology Laboratory, joined the Board of Directors of the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission, being appointed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and US Ambassador in Poland.

The Board consists of 10 active members: 5 Polish and 5 American representatives, appointed for the period of 3 years, who will be responsible for the tasks such as:

  • elaboration and passing Foundation’s plans and programmes,
  • recommending to the Board of Fulbright’s Scholarship students, practitioners, scientists, teachers, lecturers and specialists associated with research organisations in Poland as potential candidates to a given programme,
  • proposing such criteria and recruitment conditions for program’s participants to meet the mission and objectives of the Foundation.
