Dr. Marika Ziętak from the Prophylaxis of Metabolic Diseases scientific group has been awarded a prestigious scholarship of the Foundation for Polish Science.

Foundation for Polish Science awarded for the 25th time START scholarships to outstanding young scientists from the entire Poland. This year, the distinction was granted to 100 researchers from among 1152 applicants.
START is the largest in Poland scholarship programme for the best young researchers (<30) representing all scientific disciplines. The scholarship may be devoted to any desired aim, as it is intended to financially support young scientists during the rough start of their research career and allow them to fully focus on their scientific work.
